Release Notes

Last Updated: 1/20/2016

The ECG team is pleased to announce the release version 4.1.2 of the FraudStopper software, which is a bug-fix release.

This version supports all known BroadWorks text CDR formats.

The complete list of fixes is at the bottom of this page.

Upgrading from a previous version of FraudStopper should be done only after backing up the current database, licenses, installed binaries and scripts. Please refer to the Installation Guide for installation details.

What's New

The 4.1 version of FraudStopper is a significant rewrite of the internals of the software that enables some exciting new features:

  1. Supports multiple CDR Processors in a single instance. This allows providers to protect their lab and their production systems without needing two different FraudStopper instances. In future releases, it will enable support for multiple different CDR sources such as BroadWorks, IPifony, and others.
  2. Optimized the speed of CDR Processing to reduce the fraud detection time during high load situations related to Denial of Service attacks.
