What's Changed

  • Alpaca Credentials for BroadWorks servers are now encrypted at rest.
  • Speed improvements for Alpaca Migration and Exports by reducing duplication of device information, in the event a device is shared by multiple users.
  • Report filenames include the report type and timestamp on download.
  • Requirement and Encumbrance checks for Group CLID have been added to User Migrations, User Collection Migrations, User Replace, and User Delete to prevent deletion/migration of a Phone Number that is currently used as the Group CLID.
  • A user-level Requirement check for ServiceProvider Trunk Group has been added to Group-to-Enterprise Migrations when a user is assigned to a Service Provider Trunk Group.
  • Added file repository configuration support for BroadWorks R22 deployments as well as pre-R22 systems containing patch AP357768. Due to encryption implemented in BroadWorks on patch AP357768, file repository user credentials are no longer available in the TimesTen database directly. Subsequently, file repository user credentials with put, get, & delete permissions for each file repository are required to be configured on the Alpaca Server. Pre-R22 deployments not containing patch AP357768 with no file repository users configured may utilize credentials located in TimesTen database on the deployment's Application Server. Please visit our guides for more information: Alpaca Configuration

  • Fixed bug which caused User Credentials to not be reset properly after a migration.
  • Fixed bug which caused migrations and imports to fail when some IDs were already in use on the destination cluster.
  • Fixed bug that prevented successful migration or import of devices with Service Instances as the PRIMARY endpoint type.
  • Fixed bug which caused records to be skipped when reading Audit Logs. Could also cause entries to be missing in the Alpaca search index.
